  1. I love your videos because they are so honest and also encouraging for when training doesn’t work out as quickly as you might have hoped it would. Consistency is the key word I have taken from your videos. Thank you 😊

  2. Hi Zak! I would like to thank you for these great videos. I got a puppy a week ago and your videos made me better prepared. Now when I encounter frustrating behavior from my puppy I just hear your positive voice in my head saying “she’s not doing it to annoy you, she doesn’t hate you, she doesn’t try to kill you” and I move on and re-direct her with treats or toys. And let me tell you… this dog is crazy about treats.

  3. I’m getting an 8 week old miniature schnauzer puppy on Saturday the 22. I’ve been binge watching all of your videos trying to learn to be a good parent. I just wanted to say thank you for all of the information you give and all of the work you do on your videos. I hope you and everyone that sees this has a Merry Christmas.

  4. ” Your puppy’s only been on this world for 12 weeks! How much did you understand at 12 weeks, right? ”
    Best quote ever

  5. I’ll get a puppy next year and I’m about to watch all these videos and I just ordered the book! I love this way of training a dog, not with punishing, but rewarding! I will totally use all the methods I can!

  6. Can you do a series doing basic training for older, untrained dogs? We got a rescue and she doesn’t know anything, from being house broken and listening to NO, to walking on a leash and biting.

  7. I am picking up my baby German Shepard on Saturday and I have been binge watching your videos! 😂 Thank you for all the tips!

  8. You’ve helped me from when i got my Jack Russel 4 years ago, to when i got my Husky Border Collie a few months ago. I’m glad to see you’ve gotten a lot bigger…keep making good content.

  9. I’ve been working on the recall command since I got my pup about a month ago, and you know you’ve done a great job when he even comes every time he hears Zak say the command on my phone 😂😭❤️

  10. I laughed out so loud when you said your book’s cheaper than replacing chewed up furniture! It’s just so true!! 😂😂

  11. This was soooo helpful. Really made me adjust my expectations and got me sayn you right you right. My family expects my puppy to be perfect but this is validation that i need to focus on progress and just believe in my puppy and have fun learning

  12. Zak, thank you so much for your videos. I’ve got your book too. It’s very good and I recommend it. Keep up your excellent work and posting your excellent training videos 🙂

  13. *I’m in the process of training a new 6 month old rescue and this book came out just in time It’s clear, easy to understand and well written **dogy.training** The author is not trying to impress anyone with some crazy over comprehensive unclear writing or training techniques like many books **do.My** shelter puppy has responded well to the 7 common commands and is progressing nicely with the crate training and potty training explained in this book.I’m on day 9 so reinforcing the techniques in this book help daily thanks to Brandon and his no frills training style!*

  14. Thank u so much for this video. I recently got an Aussie, and she will come to me in a small area. But when it comes to outside or when there’s other dogs around she’s distracted. So I hope this helps.
